In order to alleviate poverty and rid ourselves of a sinking economy, the federal and provincial governments must focus on export-oriented industrialization. I believe that if the government in power, unlike past governments, makes an effort to pursue national interests -- forgoing ill habits such as confrontation and nepotism -- the country would be able to witness unbelievable prosperity and progress all within a short amount of time.
