After contempt notice withdrawal...: Vawda thanks Almighty Allah, judges
Vawda said in his post that in future, law would prevail when "logic and law" are interpreted in future cases
KARACHI: Senator Faisal Vawda on Sunday thanked The Almighty and the Supreme Court bench lead by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa after the epex court accepted his unconditional apology and disposed of the contempt of court notice.
In his post on "X", Vawda questioned the timing of Justice Athar Minnallah's letter. The judge, in his letter to the Supreme Court registrar, stated unequivocally that neither any complaint was filed by him nor was he in any manner consulted before initiation of contempt proceedings against Senator Faisal Vawda and MNA Mustafa Kamal.
Vawda said in his post that in future, law would prevail when "logic and law" are interpreted in future cases. Vawda said, "Under Quran, Hadith, law and constitution, no judge can level an allegation against anyone. Even today, I reserve the right to seek legal action over allegation without evidence."
