LAHORE: President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to become politically active.
In Lahore, Nawaz Sharif met with party leaders from Faisalabad Division, including Rana Sanaullah and Khawaja Saad Rafique and others. CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz was also present. Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with party leaders continued for 2 hours.
Sources said that Nawaz Sharif has decided to become politically active and announced that he would soon start meeting with party workers and leaders. Sources said that Nawaz Sharif will also play an active role in strengthening the political system.
The PMLN leader has said that even if it will be difficult for a couple of years, the time of ease will surely come. He further said that it was very sad that the youth died due to kite string in Faisalabad and added the chief minister was with you, work together for the province and the country, including the politicians, administration and police, everyone will have to get the country out of trouble.
Nawaz Sharif further said if our government had not been removed, Pakistan would have been on the heights of development. The former PM maintained that everyone saw what the occupiers did to the country, not only the Muslim League but also Pakistan was abused, now the PML has to get its political legacy.
