KHAR: The police repulsed an attack by militants on Miangano Police Post last night, officials said on Sunday.
They said that unidentified militants attacked the Miangano Police Post with rocket shells and other sophisticated weapons in the dead of Saturday night.
However, the cops manning the police post retaliated with full force, forcing the attackers to flee the scene. No casualty was reported from either side.
District Police Officer Sajjad Khan commended the bravery and courage of cops, who valiantly fought back and forced the attackers to flee the scene. He also announced cash prizes for the cops of Miangano Police Post.
