BISP beneficiaries face heat, humiliation to get grant

MALAKWAL: Due to the breakdown in the banking system, the women who took assistance from the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) in extreme heat were humiliated to get money.
According to details, the government of Pakistan gives an amount of ten and a half thousand rupees every three months to the deserving women in Mandi Bahauddin. Women whose children study from nursery to twelfth classes also get additional funds.Talking to the media, affected women said: “We had been coming to the office here for the past week to collect relief money from remote areas every day in the extreme heat.
