A three-year-old deaf and mute girl who was kidnapped about 13 months ago from the Brigade area has been recovered. The girl identified as Sadia was found abandoned near a mosque in the Brigade area. It is believed that the kidnappers escaped after leaving the girl.
Residents informed the 15 Madadgar helpline, which promptly handed the girl over to a rescue organisation. The girl was identified by close relatives. CCTV footage of the kidnapping also surfaced, which also played a crucial role in the case. According to SP Jamshed Alina Rajpar, the girl is now four years old and is unable to speak or hear.
A special team led by SP Alina had been working on finding the girl. SP Alina stated that raids were conducted in various areas, and announcements were made in mosques throughout the city to aid in the search for the missing Sadia. As a result of these efforts, Sadia was found near a mosque late on Tuesday night.
