HAFIZABAD: Former federal minister and chairperson of District Development Coordination Committee Saira Afzal Tarar has said that provision of healthcare, educational and Municipal services is the top priority of the Punjab government.
She was addressing a meeting of District Development Coordination Committee at District Complex. Deputy Commissioner Sundas Irshad, MPAs Mian Shahid Hussain Bhatti, Aoun Jahangir Bhatti, prominent political personality Sheikh Gulzar Ahmad, DPO Faisal Gulzar, ADCG Hamadullah and other offices attended the meeting.
Saira Afzal Tarar said that field hospitals and Clinic on Wheels programmes were launched by the government to ensure availability of treatment facilities to the people at their doorstep across the province, including Hafizabad district. She said that all resources were being utilised to improve performance of all government departments besides elimination of criminals involved in drugs trafficking, theft, dacoities and other anti-social activities and to ensure protection of lives, property and honour of the people. She said that the government was committed to provide maximum relief to the people. The meeting reviewed availability of healthcare facilities at the hospitals.
