LAHORE: Lahore Press Club in collaboration with Al-Ehsan Welfare Eye Hospital organised a free eye camp for its members and their families.
Eye specialists Dr Atif Shamshad, Dr M Owais, Dr Ashar Rauf, Dr M Asis, Prof Shahid Mahmood, M Saeed Bhatti, M Bilal Shafiq, Hafiz Ateeq ur Rehman, Ehtesham Kakar along with paramedical and technical staff examined patients. Patients were provided with free glasses and medicines on doctors’ advice. Many serious patients were advised to visit Al-Ehsan Hospital for permanent treatment, where foldable lenses would be implanted using modern phacoemulsification technology. An agreement was also signed between the LPC and Al-Ehsan Welfare Eye Hospital for the treatment of members and their families. The agreement was signed by Arshad Ansari, LPC President, and Sanaullah Khan Kakar, President of Al-Ehsan Welfare Eye Hospital.
