Islamabad: The Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad, Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa, has issued a warning to successful bidders of commercial and other plots to clear their dues within the stipulated schedule to avoid cancellation of their allotments. The Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, had given directives during his visit to the CDA headquarters on Wednesday, which were discussed during a meeting of senior officials presided over by Randhawa on Thursday.
Randhawa emphasised that to retain their allotments and leases of property, the allottees must make their payments within the given timeframe. He also instructed the officials concerned to resolve issues with the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) regarding outstanding payments.
Furthermore, the CDA Chairman expressed his appreciation for the ongoing operations against encroachment and directed his team to continue with the same momentum. He also praised the honesty and hard work of the CDA board members and urged them to find more ways to increase the civic body's income, which is responsible for undertaking various development projects with its own resources.
