The rupee eased against the dollar on Monday, owing to demand pressure for import and corporate payments on the first trading day of the week, dealers said.
The rupee sheds four paisas to end at 104.73 to the dollar from last Friday’s closing of 104.69 in the interbank foreign exchange market. In cash ready market the buying and selling of dollar recorded at 104.70/104.90.
