Commissioner orders addressing sanitation complaints
LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore Zaid Bin Maqsood visited the LWMC head office control room on Tuesday. LWMC CEO Babar Sahib Din and other officials were also present.
Commissioner Lahore has issued directives to promptly address sanitation complaints received from both the media and the public. Furthermore, he emphasised the necessity of removing illegal dumping sites from the city for a thorough cleaning process while instructing that LWMC garbage collection vehicles be fully covered from the upper side.
Babar Sahib Din gave a detailed briefing to commissioner on LWMC's sanitation operations, encompassing the monitoring mechanism from temporary to main dumping sites, prompt complaint redressal via LWMC's social media and helpline, and the utilisation of artificial intelligence to optimise vehicle routes.
