Dolphin cop shot at, wounded

Islamabad: Another cop of Dolphin patrolling squad has targeted by unknown gunmen by two bike-riding attackers at Phulgran, a police spokesman said Wednesday.

The cop has been shifted to hospital in critical condition with multiple bullet injuries. The police said that Dolphin Patrolling Squad was busy in general checking when two bike-riding gunmen opened targeted firing at the police resulted in one of them sustained bullets and shifted to hospital in critical condition. The hospital sources termed him stable after surgeries. The police have registered case against the unidentified attackers and started efforts to make headway towards them.
