PTF Inter-Dept Tennis begins today

ISLAMABAD: The first Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Inter-Departmental Tennis Trophy 2024 will start today (Friday) here at the PTF Tennis Complex. 

On Thursday, the meeting of all the participating teams’ captains was held at the Referee’s Office.

Arif Qureshi chaired the meeting whereas Secretary PTF and Organizing Committee Chairman Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail and Tournament Director Muhammad Khalil Chughtai also attended the meeting.

Country’s top five teams -- Wapda, Army, Air Force, Navy, and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines -- are participating in the event. Army will play SNGPL while Navy will be taking on Wapda on the opening day (today). Zahoor Ahmed Addl. Secretary IPC and director general PSB will grace the occasion as chief guest at the inauguration ceremony.
