ISLAMABAD: The Senate Secretariat’s senior most officer Syed Hasnain Haider will act as Senate Secretary.
According to the Senate Secretariat, an office order in this regard has also been issued. Haider is the most senior officer in the Senate Secretariat, with two decades of service in the institution. He is presently serving in BPS-22 as special secretary.
His extensive experience encompasses a deep understanding of both legislative and administrative processes, making him highly qualified to step into this role, it said. This development comes on the retirement of the Senate Secretary Muhammad Qasim Samad Khan.
