KOHAT: A ninth-grade student was fatally stabbed by his classmate on way home from Government High School No 3 here on Friday.
The police intervened promptly and arrested the accused, identified as Muhammad Waqas, also a ninth-grade student at the same school.The altercation occurred between Bilawal and Muhammad Waqas during their return home from school. Waqas allegedly attacked Bilawal with a knife during the fight, causing fatal injuries.
After committing the crime, the accused fled the scene, but upon receiving information, the police immediately reached the site of the incident and arrested Waqas.The body of the deceased student was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem, and upon the report of Bilal’s brother Muhammad Ansar, a case was registered against Waqas.
The complainant stated that a few days ago, his brother Bilawal had a minor altercation with Waqas, adding that on Friday, Waqas intercepted his brother on his way home from school and stabbed him with a knife.The police have registered a case and initiated further investigation into the incident.
