LAHORE: The Sikh pilgrims from India will leave via Wagah border on April 22 (today) after completing their 10-day pilgrimage. The Sikh pilgrims shopping at Shah Alam Market and other adjacent markets said that they got respect and the Lahorites have won their hearts and they felt like home here.

They said that best security, accommodation and medical facilities have been provided during our stay in Pakistan. We are grateful to the Pakistan government and the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) for taking care of our Gurudwaras, they added. The President of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Bandhak Committee (PSGBC) and Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora visited the pilgrims during their two-day stay in provincial capital and reviewed the arrangements.

Additional Secretary of Shrine Rana Shahid said that the pilgrims have expressed their satisfaction on the arrangements. The Sikh pilgrims thanked the Pakistan government for making their travel convenient by starting the train from Narowal to Lahore.
