KARACHI: The University of Karachi will confer an honorary PhD degree on Iranian President Dr Syed Ibrahim Raisi on the occasion of his visit to Pakistan.
Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has recommended the award of an honorary PhD degree to Iranian President Dr Raisi.
For this purpose, the University of Karachi Vice Chancellor Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi has called a special meeting of the syndicate on Saturday, April 20 in which formal approval will be given to award the honorary degree.
