Man kills wife, seven children in Alipur

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the IGP

MUZAFFARGARH: A man killed his wife and seven children over a domestic dispute in the Alipur Sadr Police limits.

The police reported that Sajjad Hussain killed his wife and seven children using a hammer in Alipur. The children’s ages ranged from six months to eight years. The accused is a tailor by profession.

Preliminary investigation indicated that Sajjad killed his family due to poverty. He informed the police that there had been a series of domestic issues, including repeated brawls in the family.

According to DPO Husnain Haider, the accused is a disabled person.
