Evening OPD in Mian Mir Hospital to be functional after Eid: minister
LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Kh Imran Nazir has said that the evening OPD shift will be started in Government Mian Mir Hospital after Eid.
He said this during his visit to Mian Mir hospital on Saturday. CEO PHFMC Dr Asim Altaf, MS Mian Mir Hospital Dr Ahmad Ghaus and other staff were also present on the occasion. The health minister visited the emergency, indoor, OPD and dengue wards and reviewed the medical facilities.
The minister was told that an appendicitis patient was referred from Shahkot Hospital, upon which the minister asked for a report from the MS. He inquired about the free medicines and testing facilities from the patients and their families, on which the patients expressed their full satisfaction. The minister also checked the records regarding attendance of doctors in hepatitis and dental clinics and medical facilities provided to patients.
