Policeman loses life in Nowshera firing

NOWSHERA: A constable of the Frontier Reserve Police (FRP) lost his life in firing at the Kheshgi Payan area in the Nowshera district on Monday.

Nowshera Kalaan Police Station House Officer Inayat Ali Amjad said that the police party rushed to Nawab Chowk in Kheshgi Payan when they received the information about the murder of an FRP constable Ihsanullah.He said one Osama had gone to the house of Ihsanullah and had asked him to hand over his brother Ahmad, who was involved in cases of theft and robberies.

The SHO said that the two first exchanged harsh words over the issue and then Osama allegedly opened fire on Ihsanullah, killing him on the spot.

The body of the cop was later shifted to Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex for medico-legal formalities.Abdullah, the brother of slain cop, nominated Osama for the murder of Ihsanullah.
