LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf Central President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said the ban on meeting Imran Khan in Adiala Jail is unconstitutional.

He said the PTI was robbed of its rightful mandate, leading to the emergence of what he referred to as ‘TikTok rulers’. In an informal conversation with journalists at the FIA court here Thursday, he highlighted the further erosion of the people’s self-esteem due to these rulers, who, despite their relative insignificance, boastfully engage in self-aggrandisement. He emphasised that Form 45 would serve as a noose for these illegitimate rulers, decrying the inclusion of vote stealers in federal and provincial cabinets and accusing the PMLN of pursuing a politics of vengeance rather than reconciliation.

Pervaiz Elahi lamented the unprecedented number of political prisoners in jails and criticised the election commission for its unprecedented actions, including the allocation of seats to opposing parties. He warned those in positions of power to fear divine retribution and asserted that the public increasingly looks to divine justice. He vowed nationwide protests until the return of PTI’s mandate and anticipated the formation of a unified opposition front against election rigging.
