Kurram Press Club gets new office-bearers

PARACHINAR: The members of Kurram Press Club elected new office-bearers for the year 2024-25 on Saturday.
According to the results, Ali Afzal Azaal of daily The News was elected president, Syed Jawad Hussain general secretary while Muhammad Ali Turi, Azmat Alizai, Israr Hussain Bangash, Janan Hussain, Rashid Khan, Basharat Hussain were elected senior vice president, vice-president, information secretary, finance secretary, deputy general secretary and office secretary respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, the newly-elected president Ali Afzal Azaal said that he would take steps for the welfare of journalists’ community and improving the affairs of the press club.
