ISLAMABAD: Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said that the unwavering courage and strong motivation of PAF men had made it an icon of undeterred strength.Addressing the Graduation Ceremony 133 GD (P) course at PAF Academy, Risalpur on Thursday, the air chief said the decisive role of the PAF in the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb was a proof of seamless coordination and tremendous harmony that had broken back of the militants.

Customs official arrested for seeking
bribe from British citizen
ISLAMABAD: On the directives of Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, a Customs official has been arrested for demanding bribe from a Pakistani origin British citizen at Islamabad international airport.The said official demanded bribe from the citizen a few days back for allowing him to take his luggage without security check. The incident was reported in a British newspaper with photographs that had drawn criticism on Pakistan.The Interior Minister while taking immediate notice of the incident ordered an investigation on which the accused was arrested on Thursday.

SUKKUR: The federal government has made DIG Motorway Lahore Bashir Ahmed Memon Director Intelligence Bureau Islamabad.Bashir Memon was one of the best police officers of Sindh and is widely seen as a role model in the Sindh Police.Talking to The News here in Sukkur, Bashir Memon said that he will re-strengthen the capacity-building of the institute.He said that the IGP Sindh initiated bold steps to maintain the law and order situation in Karachi as well as in other districts of Sindh.
