KARACHI: Navy took decisive lead in the 31st National Shooting Championship at PN Shooting Ranges here on Wednesday. In the individual category of 25m Standard Pistol, Army’s Umer Farooq won gold medal with the score of 570 points.
Navy’s Zafar Iqbal took silver medal with the score of 567 points and Army’s M Shabbir claimed bronze medal with the score of 562 points. In the team category of the said event, Army won gold with the score of 1685 points, Navy took silver medal with the score of 1627 points, and PAF claimed bronze medal with the score of 1602 points.
In the individual category of 50m Rifle 3-Position event for women, Navy’s Sara Saleem claimed gold medal with the score of 573 points. Navy’s Hadeeqa Iqbal took silver medal with the score of 571 points and Navy’s Nadra Raees won bronze medal with the score of 569 points.
In the team category of the said event, Navy won gold with the score of 1713 points, Wapda took silver medal with the score of 1586 points, and Sindh claimed bronze medal with the score of 1462 points.
