LAHORE: To ramp up cleanliness efforts, LWMC CEO Babar Sahib Din has revoked the Sunday leave of officers and operational staff, ensuring uninterrupted cleaning operations. He inspected various areas to supervise the cleanliness drive's progress, emphasising the clearance of streets, interior areas, and open plots. Additionally, department heads have been tasked with monitoring cleanliness measures across nine Lahore towns. Community mobilisers are also actively engaged, joining LWMC teams in raising awareness about cleanliness.

An awareness drive about cleanliness was organised in Kareem Block Commercial Market. According to LWMC spokesperson Umar Chaudhary, a large number of political and social leaders, market trade union and LWMC workers participated in the awareness walk.
