AJK judiciary to uphold rule of law: CJ
MIRPUR: Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan has said that the High Judiciary of Azad Kashmir is doing a proud job to deliver justice. The judiciary of Azad Kashmir can never compromise to uphold the rule of law. The services of Prof Ilyas Ayub are commendable and praiseworthy. He expressed these views while speaking as the special guest at the annual prize distribution ceremony of Akab School for Blinds.
Senior Judge of Supreme Court of AJK Justice Khawaja Muhammad Naseem, Custodian of Abandoned Property Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Khalid Yousaf, former senior minister of Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Bar President Mirpur Chaudhry Shakeel Zaman Advocate, Commissioner Mirpur Chaudhry Shaukat Ali, President Chamber of Commerce Syed Sabir Hussain Shah, CEO Seven Star group Chaudhry Rizwan Anwar, Chairman District Council Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga, British businessman Chaudhry Rasib Hussain, Chaudhry Mehmood Advocate, and former justice Sheikh Masood Advocate, including a large number of representatives of the city participated in the ceremony. Chief Justice of Azad Kashmir Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan said that “today’s evening is a great and memorable evening for me, which I will never forget. Spending time with the children of Akab school brings mental and spiritual peace.
He said that I wish to spend all my time with these children whenever I get free time from work, he addressed the children of Akab school”, he added. He said that there is no deficiency in you. If Allah has deprived you of one sense, then Allah has blessed you with countless additional qualities. Mentioning the services of Ilyas Ayub said that he is an exemplary figure for the state, there is no substitute for his services, I am with you and I pay tribute to you. Raja Saeed Akram Khan said that Akab’s children are rare diamonds.
Addressing the ceremony, school principal Prof Ilyas Ayub said that with the support of philanthropists, he is trying hard and courageously to make these children useful citizens of the society.
Awarded with a special shield for participating and encouraging the children, the children of Akab School for the Blinds enthralled the audience by presenting a song and the words of Iqbal in the ceremony.
