LAHORE:Cloudy weather was recorded in the City here Monday while Met office predicted similar weather conditions with chances of rain during the next 24 hours.
Met officials warned that snowfall may disrupt and cause closure of roads in north Balochistan and heavy rain may cause flash flooding in local nullahs/streams in Balochistan particularly in Gwadar, Ketch, Panjgur and Awaran districts.
They further warned that snowfall may also disrupt roads in Murree, Galiyat, Naran, Kaghan, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Shangla, Astore, Hunza, Skardu, Neelum Valley, Bagh, Poonch and Haveli.
They said a westerly wave was affecting Balochistan and likely to persist next 48 hours. Monday’s minimum temperature was recorded at Leh where mercury dropped to -16°C, while in Lahore, it was 9.1°C and maximum was 23.5°C.
