Govt deputes three officials to PCB
2 BPS-18 officers of Police Service, who were posted in Punjab, have also been appointed in PCB on deputation basis
ISLAMABAD: The federal government has handed over the services of three bureaucrats to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on deputation basis.
These bureaucrats include a BPS-20 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service, Sohail Ashraf, who is serving in the Punjab government.
Two BPS-18 officers of Police Service, including Komail and Zain Asim, who were posted in Punjab, have also been appointed in the PCB on deputation basis.
Meanwhile, with nomination of PMLN President Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif as prime minister by his party and allies, some important changes are expected in the top bureaucracy.
The sources said that names of two senior officers of PAS, Secretary Finance Imdadullah Bosal and Momin Agha, are under consideration for key post of secretary to the prime minister. Both senior officers are close to Shehbaz Sharif and served under him when he was the Punjab chief minister.
