Only PPP has representation in four provinces

Whereas PMLN and PTI did not win any National Assembly seat from Sindh

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is the only party which has won the National Assembly seats from all the four provinces in elections 2024.

Whereas PMLN and PTI did not win any National Assembly seat from Sindh.

In the provincial assemblies, PTI topped in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, PMLN in Punjab and PPP in Sindh and Balochistan.

PTI won most National Assembly seats from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A total of 37 National Assembly seats were secured by PTI independents out of the total 45 NA seats from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Whereas JUIF and PMLN won two each and PPP won only one seat of National Assembly from KP.

In Islamabad, PMLN won 2 seats while no seats were won by PTI and PPP. Whereas in Punjab, it was a close competition between PTI and PMLN in the National Assembly. However, PMLN took the lead and secured 67 NA seats while PTI secured 55 NA seats from Punjab. PPP won seven seats of National Assembly from Punjab. From Sindh, PPP took the lead in National Assembly contests securing 44 seats out of total 60 National Assembly seats. No seats were won by either PMLN or PTI in Sindh.

And lastly from Balochistan, PMLN won most National Assembly seats. PMLN secured 4 seats, JUIF 3, PPP 2 and PTI won only 1 seat of National Assembly from Balochistan.

It is important to mention here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won by great margins in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, grabbing over 90 percent of provincial assembly seats and over 80 percent of National Assembly seats.

From Punjab in both provincial and national assemblies, the PTI-backed independent candidates gave a good competition to PMLN, which have won majority seats from here.

From the National Assembly, PMLN won almost 25 percent of seats from Punjab whereas PTI gave neck to neck competition by securing 20 percent of NA seats from the province.

From Punjab’s provincial assembly, PMLN won 138 seats, leading PTI by only 18 which won 116 seats from Punjab Assembly.

From Sindh, PPP won a clear majority of both provincial and National Assembly seats. PTI took 11 seats from Sindh in the National Assembly while no seat from the provincial assembly. PMLN on the other hand did not win a single seat from either of the assemblies.

From Balochistan, PPP and PMLN had competition where PMLN won with the lead of 2 seats from PPP in the National Assembly. Whereas in the provincial assembly, PPP took majority by winning 11 seats, PMLN was second with 9 seats, JUIF with 8 seats and PTI with 5 seats in this province
