Police recover snatched container of medicines in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: The police recovered a container of medicines which was snatched on the Grand Trunk Road, police said on Wednesday.
They said one Muhammad Irshad was trucking 850 cartons of medicines from Karachi to Peshawar when armed men signaled him to stop the heavy vehicle on the GT Road near Akora Khattak. He said the armed men introduced themselves as Excise Department officials and drove the containers to an unknown location while forced him to go with them in their car.
The drover said the armed set him free after covering some distance. On his complaint, the police raided several places and found the container at godown in Tarnab Farms. The police arrested two persons Akhtar Gul and Mir Doash and recovered the container.
