PTI rallies condemn ‘rigging’ in elections

HANGU/MANSEHRA: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawmakers-elect on Saturday staged rallies in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to condemn alleged rigging in February 8 elections.

Addressing a protest rally held against the ‘rigging’ in election results outside the press club in Hangu, Member National Assembly-elect Yousaf Khan and

Member Provincial Assembly-elect Shah Turab Khan said that the revelations

of Rawalpindi commissioner regarding rigging in election results had opened the

eyes of the people and the administration.

They said that they would continue their protest movement against the manipulation of election results in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.

The PTI leaders said that routine life had been paralysed by the ongoing protest rallies against the rigging which was not in favour of the people and the country. PTI rally condemns poll ‘rigging’ in Hangu

MANSEHRA: The rallies on the call of PTI founder chairman were held across upper parts of the Hazara division. The rallies were taken out in Mansehra, Torghar and Kohistan districts where protesters demanded the ECP announce results in accordance with Form 45.

The protesters blocked the Karakoram Highway in the Doraha area where the district administration had established a central control room to collect ballot boxes and made them public after compiling results.
