Safe elections
With elections upcoming, there is a palpable sense of anticipation and hope among citizens for a democratic process that truly reflects the will of the people. As we approach this crucial moment in Pakistan’s political landscape, it is essential to underscore the significance of a fair, transparent, and inclusive election. The citizens eagerly anticipate a voting process that upholds the principles of democracy, allowing for diverse voices to be heard and respected.
The security conditions are not great in Pakistan, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pakistan has witnessed an uptick in terror activities in recent months, especially in KP and Balochistan. The security forces must ensure a safe electoral process. I also encourage the election authorities to ensure the smooth conduct of the election, safeguarding its integrity and credibility. A well-administered election strengthens the foundation of democracy and reinforces the faith of the people in the political system.
