Law minister to head panel on missing persons
The ministry has notified the committee’s composition after approval by the federal cabinet

ISLAMABAD: The government has constituted a five-member ministerial committee to review and resolve the missing persons’ issue.
Federal minister for law and justice heads the committee, the interior ministry sources said.
The ministry has notified the committee’s composition after approval by the federal cabinet.
Ministers for defense, human right and national heritage would be among the members. Legal experts and those concerned with human rights would also represent the committee. The committee would consider and review the cases of missing persons and submit its report, based on recommendations, to the federal cabinet for final approval to frame the future strategy.
