LG rep quits PTI

MANSEHRA: Channia Neighbourhood Council chairman Malik Adnan Khattana on Saturday quit Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN).
“I have to work for the uplift of my neighbourhood council, and its people. And to make this a reality I decided to quit PTI and join the PMLN,” he told reporters here.
Adnan Khattana said he was impressed by the politics of former PMLN federal minister Sardar Mohammad Yousuf and decided to join his party in the larger public interest.
He said that people were mature enough and would exercise their right to vote in the country’s larger interest.
“Our county has been facing enormous challenges and only the Nawaz Sharif-led PMLN can pull it out of crises,” he added.
