Fog disrupts flights schedule
LAHORE: Persistent fog in Punjab resulted in the cancellation of 12 flights, with six flights being diverted to alternative airports.
A private airline’s flight from Jeddah to Lahore was rerouted to Karachi. Additionally, three flights from Dubai, Multan, Dammam, and Kuwait City to Sialkot were diverted to Islamabad. Two flights from Bahrain and Karachi to Lahore were also redirected to Islamabad.
Simultaneously, two PIA flights from Lahore to Karachi were canceled. Saudi Airlines’ flight SV 738 from Jeddah to Lahore faced cancellation as well. Furthermore, two flights by a private airline from Islamabad to Karachi and one to Sharjah were canceled. Lastly, two private airline flights from Multan to Jeddah and three flights from Karachi to Dammam and Gwadar were also cancelled.
