PMLN launches election campaign in Mansehra
MANSEHRA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) candidates in the national and provincial assembly constituencies launched the election campaign here on Tuesday.
“People want Nawaz Sharif back into power to put the country on road to development,” PMLN leader and candidate for NA-14, Sardar Mohammad Yousuf, told a gathering after inaugurating the central election office in Balakot.
Captain (retd) Mohammad Safdar, the son-in-law of PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif and Junaid Qasim, the candidate for PK-36, also addressed the gathering.Sardar Yousuf said the country was facing enormous economic challenges owing to the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s wrong policies and corruption.
The Pakistan Democratic Movement steered the county out of economic recession and now the time was not far off when PMLN would form its government at the centre and four provinces with the support of the people and put it on the way to prosperity and development, he added.
“Nawaz Sharif is the only leader who can steer the country out of the economic challenges,” he said. The PMLN workers raised slogans in support of Nawaz Sharif and their aspirants running in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Captain (rets) Safdar said, “We are going to form the government in the centre and four provinces with the support of the people.”
