Private sector to adopt e-filing system
LAHORE:Following the success of Punjab Information Technology Board's e-filing and office automation system (e-Foas), private sector has also approached the PITB for the same service for their office management files.
In this regard, an MoU was signed between the PITB and Al-Khidmat Foundation to provide the services. Government Digital Services Wing Director General Muhammad Waseem Bhatti and Vice-President of Al-Khidmat Foundation Dr Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed Mangat signed the MoU, on behalf of their institutions.
According to the MoU, initially the offices of Al-Khidmat Foundation in Pakistan while in the next phase international offices will be transferred to e-filing system. Government Digital Services Wing Director General said that after the acceptance of e-Foas in government departments, its implementation was expanding to the private sector too. He said that its implementation would help private institutions to improve their departmental affairs and service delivery.
