Fire damages restaurant

A fire damaged a restaurant on Shaheed-e-Millat Road on Saturday. The fire brigade spokesperson reported that upon receiving information about the fire, three fire brigade vehicles were dispatched to the restaurant.

The department was alerted about the fire at 10:55 am, and the efforts of firefighters successfully controlled the flames within an hour. Additionally, the spokesperson mentioned the rescue of a family trapped in the residential building above the restaurant. Fortunately, no loss of life was reported. The actual cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
