Seven injured in road accident
HARIPUR: Seven passengers, including two women, and two minor children were injured when a speeding Toyota Hiace hit the rickshaw near Lora Chowk, police said here on Monday.
According to Sub-Inspector Mazhar Khan Tanoli, in-charge Police Post Trauma Centre, a family from Hasanabadal was on the way to Havelian by their rickshaw. When the overloaded tri-wheeler reached near Lora Chowk, a speeding Toyota Hiace coming from Abbottabad side hit the rickshaw, injuring all the occupants. The rescue workers shifted the injured to Trauma Centre from where three of the injured were referred to Ayub Teaching Hospital Abbottabad for tertiary care, police and doctors said.The injured included Farhan, Saba Noor, 3, Mudassar, 10, Shehzad, 8, Sohail, Humaira and their mother Shahida Bibi.
