LAHORE
An additional district and sessions court Wednesday convicted two drug traffickers nominated in different narcotics cases.
The court awarded one-year jail term to Hussain Ali as he was proved guilty of possessing a large quantity of hashish. The court imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on the convict. In case of default in payment of fine the convict will undergo tree-month imprisonment. Police had arrested the convict and recovered 1,200 grams of hashish from his possession. Meanwhile, the court awarded four-month imprisonment to another drug pusher Asim alias Asi. The court imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on the convict.
