The FIR No 186/23 was registered at the City Courts police station on the complaint of City Courts SHO Irshad Hussain Tunio under the sections 147, 148, 149 and 337-H2. The officer stated in the FIR that police personnel from outside were also deployed to provide security during the elections and the firing incident occurred following the announcement of the election results.
“The firing incident occurred when the election results were announced at around 11:55 on Saturday,” the FIR reads. “During this time, 15 to 20 lawyers, including women, began firing gunshots.”
The complainant said that when he reached there, he found rush and asked people who were the shooters but no one named those who resorted to firing.
