Islamabad:A young man Monday, gunned a young girl when she rejected his marriage proposal and later he committed suicide on the spot.
The young man was identified as Usaama son of Mohammad Aslam was an ordinary worker at a furniture shop, while the victim 14-year-old girl was a student of 10th class in a school, the police, quoting statement of relatives, said.
On Monday morning, Usaama contacted with the girl and asked her for wedlock but she refused his proposal saying that she want to complete her study. Usaama whipped out his gun and shot straight fires at her and later committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.
Usaama was living in Sector G-7/3-4, while the girl was residing in Sohan falling in the jurisdiction of Khanna police station. The police reached the scene and shifted both the bodies to the hospital after taking up the case.
