MULTAN: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Amir Sirajul Haq Friday said the JI is working to establish a fair and equal system for all individuals, without discrimination.

Addressing a rally at Chungi No 9 organized by youth, he said that the JI has launched its election campaign from Multan to influence voters and supporters for the next general elections. “All the political parties are fielding already tested candidates but the JI assures people of their protection from looters and plunderers. The JI is struggling to oust dynasty politics for the rule of law. Dynasty politics has destroyed the entire fabric of the country and polluted the society.”

Siraj said the JI is struggling for the right to good education and corruption-free Pakistan. He hoped the country would witness a revolution on February 8 with the defeat of looters.

He said: “The country did not gain independence to witness the staging of dynastic politics. The huddle in which the relatives sit together is known as the parliamentary meeting in the country's political scenario.”

He highlighted the importance of uplifting the Islamic political system in the country. The purpose of gaining independence was to impose the Islamic system on the country, he said.

He urged the masses to cast votes for his party in a bid to see the uplifting of the Islamic political system in the country.

Later, the JI Amir led motorcades towards Khanewal and finally reached workers' conventions in NA-149.
