Timber seized in Mansehra

MANSEHRA: Police on Monday seized a huge quantity of timber.A police team led by the station house officer of Pulrah raided a house and seized a huge quantity of timber.The confiscated timber was shifted to the police station and later handed to an official of the Forest Department.

The arrested smugglers were released after the Forest Department received fines and let them go.The timber smugglers in Pulrah and Tanawal, according to police, cut trees from the local forests and transport them to Mansehra and the rest of Hazara division through infrequent routes.
