Gangsters’ attack, police encounter claim 11 lives in Rahim Yar Khan
SUKKUR: As many as 11 persons, including four villagers as many dacoits, two police personnel and a passerby woman, were killed in two related incidents of firing at borderline area of Machka district, Rahim Yar Khan.
Police sources said that a gang of dacoits led by Umaro Shar had attacked at the farmers working at the agricultural field in Sabo Seelaro near Machko in District Rahimyarkhan.
They killed four villagers identified as Shahzado, Pervez, Shuban and Hafeez Machi. A passerby woman Abida Sel-lero also came under fire and succumb to her injuries. While the outlaws were escaping, the Machko Police of Punjab followed them. In an ensuing encounter between the police and dacoits gangsters Umaro Shar, Raham Dil Koach, Ali Dino and Karam Ali Koach were killed. The clash between the police and the gangster also claimed the lives of police personnel including DPO Muhammad Irshad and cop Qasim.
