PESHAWAR: Special Judge of Anti-Corruption Court Babar Ali Khan on Tuesday ordered the Anti-Corruption Establishment to submit records in a case pertaining to alleged corruption in recruitment.
The court was hearing the bail applications of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) former provincial ministers and lawmakers accused of corruption in the recruitment. They had filed applications for seeking bails. The Anti-Corruption Establishment did not produce records in the court when the proceedings started.
At this, the court ordered the officials of the Anti-Corruption Establishment to submit the relevant record at the next hearing. During the hearing, a lawyer of the Anti-Corruption Establishment told the court that since the first information report did not contain the name of PTI’s local leader Irfan Saleem so he withdrew his bail application.
