Gomal, Mianwali varsities sign MoU for education, research

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Gomal University, Dera and the University of Mianwali signed a memorandum of understanding on Friday.

The MoU was signed by University of Mianwali Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Islam Ullah Khan, while Gomal University was represented by Dr Muhammad Shoaib, the registrar. 

Deans of all departments of Gomal University, administrative officers, along with the Registrar of the University of Mianwali Dr Abdul Majid Rana, and the director QEC, were also present on the occasion.

The MoU was executed with the support of the Directorate of Works of Gomal University. The terms and conditions agreed upon in the agreement include national and international cooperation between the two universities, including the promotion of scientific, research, and educational cooperation, mutual faculty-student exchange, and mutual cooperation programmes, seminars, symposiums, and others in various departments.

On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor University of Mianwali Prof Dr Islam Ullah Khan said that the MoU was welcome for both educational institutions, as the work of universities was to promote knowledge and research. After this, the teachers and students of both educational institutions will benefit from it.
