Early re-opening of Metro Bus Station near D-Chowk urged
Islamabad
The commuters have demanded of the government to make Metro Bus Station near D-Chowk functional as soon as possible because they have to travel half a mile by foot to reach other station to catch the Metro Bus.
“The protesters torched the Metro Bus Station near D-Chowk without thinking that this facility is used by the general public and millions of rupees from the national exchequer were used to develop it. Now it is responsibility of the government to restore this facility for the benefit of the commuters,” said Tahir Malik, a commuter who works at a private company in Blue Area. It is pertinent to mention here that the protesters destroyed the Metro Bus Station near D-Chowk during protest sit-in and now this station is not functional as the repair work is being done for last couple of weeks.
