TI voices concern over govt’s anti-Afghan comment
LAHORE : Tanzeem-e-Islami (TI) Ameer Shujauddin Shaikh has voiced concerns over the statement of Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar calling the Afghan government illegitimate.
Addressing a meeting on Saturday, he said it is inappropriate and undiplomatic for a caretaker prime minister to declare Kabul an illegitimate regime.
He said the PM should keep in mind that an international conspiracy is being hatched to divide Muslim states waging proxy war using Muslim territories. He said Muslim countries have been keeping brotherly relations and adhering to the principle of non-interference in internal matters of one another.
He said the PM should not comment on Afghanistan’s internal affairs since both neighbouring countries share historic bonds of brotherhood that require mutual respect, trust and ties.
Shuja said clear as daylight that world power is bent upon creating animosity between both the two countries, but we must not fall prey to such conspiracies and keep on defeating such anti-Islam forces. He expressed hope that both countries would foil enemy conspiracies and strengthen cooperation.
