LAHORE: Pakistan People's Party Central Punjab President Farooq Saeed has said the PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif should have surrendered and gone to jail after returning to Pakistan.

Flanked by PPP leaders Faisal Mir, Aurangzeb Burki and Shahida Jabeen, the PPP Central Punjab President addressing a press conference on Wednesday said Nawaz Sharif received full ‘protocol’ on his return and if he wanted to prove himself the Prime Minister of the country, he should declare his brother Shehbaz Sharif as the caretaker PM.

He said 'Nawaz was mistaken if he thought he could run the country individually.' Besides, he said the dollar witnessed a decline due to the efforts of the Army Chief. In his speech, Farooq said Nawaz did not talk about the elections. He said every party, including PTI should be given level-playing field.
